Z-Max Butterfly Valves
Morgan’s Z-Max Butterfly Valves with NilcraTM Zirconia Ceramic Liner, Disc and Shrouds, outperform Butterfly valves with conventional alloy trim by several times in a wide variety of severe abrasive and corrosive services.
The solid NilcraTM Zirconia Ceramic Disc ensures reliable, consistent control together with high wear resistance. The valve shaft is totally protected by the unique Z-Max Zirconia ceramic sleeve system.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Size Range: Butterfly valves are readily available in 2” (DN50) to 10” (DN250) nominal bore.
Pressure Class: both CL150 & CL300 pressure classes are readily available.
Temperature Rating: (-) 73° C to + 200° C.
Body: cast steel body and support.
Disc, Liner and Shaft Shrouds: NilcraTM Zirconia Ceramic
Drive shaft & hardware: all stainless steel.
Design Features: Anti shaft blowout, standard white external body finish for ease of identification, individual stamped nameplates for full traceability.
Flanges: 2” & 3” valves are wafer design; all other sizes are extended body with ANSI CL150 or CL300 standard flanges.
Mounting: ISO mounting as standard, please contact us if other mountings are required.
Actuation: Bare shaft valves or various actuator & positioner configurations are available. GT pneumatic actuators fitted with VRC positioners are standard.
